In InnovHeart
www.innovheart.com, we are looking for a Resident R&D Engineer, who will be based in our plant in Colleretto Giacosa (TO - Italy), having as primary responsibility the effective and timely transfer of technologies related to a Class III permanent implantable device from InnovHeart to a Chinese partner.
To this purpose, after an initial period of training at InnovHeart, during which he/she will acquire deep knowledge of the functional and clinical aspects of the implantable device as well as of the manufacturing processes and the supply chain for its clinical quality production, he/she will be in charge of transferring this know-how to an R&D Team at the Chinese partner.
Responsibilities
• Serve as the main point of contact between InnovHeart and a Chinese Company for the implementation of a Licensing Agreement;
• Support the transfer of technology know-how in terms of design and manufacturing processes;
• Recommend solutions to smoother the transfer of all manufacturing capabilities to the Chinese partner for a domestic production in the Chinese Territory;
• Support the establishment of a new domestic supply chain, ensuring that novel suppliers meet InnovHeart QMS requirements;
• Provide technical and statistical reports to analyze the knowledge transfer process;
• Collaborate with InnovHeart Program Manager to achieve the project objectives within the timeframe set by the project plan;
• Support logistics and shipment activities;
• Perform a thorough analysis of issues to allow an effective problem resolution.
Requirements
• Engineering or related biomedical degree;
• 5+ years of medical device development experience (cardiovascular experience preferred);
• Familiarity with standard reference for Medical Device industries, preferably with business in Class III implantable devices;
• Former experience with Chinese Medical Device Regulations and relationship with NMPA;
• Ability to work independently;
• Fluency in English and Chinese;
• Availability for long stays in China.
